Stadium Seating
Theatre SeatingThe typical SSE stadium seating system rests directly on the floor of the auditorium or project area and is independent from the vertical building structure. In the case of retrofit applications, that fact can greatly reduce the cost of the project, as it does not affect current loads and capacities of the vertical building structure. Additionally the weight of the systems, in particular the SSE-EPS stadium seating ystems is extremely low compared to traditional methods. As an example, 1 cubic foot of Type II SSE-EPS weighs only 1lb. / cubic foot.
Stadium SeatingUnlike traditional tiered stadium seating solutions, the SSE Stadium Seating Solutions possess excellent acoustic properties minimizing any reverberation or sound transfer and complementing the theatrical or entertainment experience. Since contractor productivity is one of the major factors affecting the overall cost of today's projects, the SSE Systems have been designed to minimize installation time and manpower while allowing the contractor to have full and free access to the floor without the limitations imposed by scaffolding. Due to the modular nature and attachment characteristics of the prefabricated SSE Stadium Seating Solutions, all stadium seating platform components are installed much later in the construction sequence than is customary with traditional steel stud or other means of providing tiered stadium seating platforms.
bleacher seatsPrefabricated Solutions The fact that all stadium seating platform components (the kit-of-parts) are brought into the auditorium or through a pedestrian door after much of the construction work on the building has been completed is also a major advantage for the installing contractor. Each modular stadium seating platform component is designed to easily be carried by two workman and is typically installed by semi-skilled labor in less than two days per auditorium further. This advantage of the SSE System reduces the overall cost for stadium seating platform installation and the overall construction cost associated with the project. In the case of a retrofit installation, the portability and modularity of the system and the ability to bring all components into the space through a standard pedestrian door also minimizes disruption to ongoing operations in adjacent auditoriums or theatres.
